Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Nightporter ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use this website or enquire about our services. We handle personal data in line with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA). By using the site or contacting us, you consent to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you submit the enquiry form or contact us, we collect the details you provide — such as your name, contact (email or phone), group size, preferred date, the service you're interested in, budget or hours, and any specific requests. We also keep the content of our correspondence with you.
Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not collect or store your card details — those are handled directly by the payment provider on their own secure systems.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we collect limited technical and usage data (such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type) through cookies and similar technologies, where you consent to non-essential cookies.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to respond to your enquiry and plan your night; to arrange bookings with venues, vendors, and transport on your behalf; to take payment and issue invoices; to operate, secure, and improve the website; and — where you have consented — for analytics and marketing, including measuring and remarketing our services.
3. Cookies and consent
We use essential cookies needed for the site to work, and — only with your consent — analytics and advertising cookies. When you first visit, a banner lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies, and analytics and advertising remain disabled by default until you accept (Google Consent Mode). You can change your choice at any time via the banner.
4. Analytics and advertising
Subject to your consent, we use Google Analytics and Google Ads (loaded via Google Tag Manager) to understand how the site is used, to measure the performance of our advertising, and to show relevant ads to people who have visited the site. These tools set cookies and share data with Google. You can opt out at any time through our cookie banner and through Google's own ad settings.
5. Who we share it with
We share personal data only as needed to provide the service and run the site, with: venues, vendors, and transport providers, to arrange your night; our service providers, including Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery), and Vercel and Cloudflare (hosting and infrastructure); and Google (analytics and advertising), where you have consented. We do not sell your personal data.
6. International transfers
Some of our service providers process data on servers outside Singapore. Where personal data is transferred abroad, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is afforded a standard of protection comparable to the PDPA.
7. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and booking information for as long as needed to provide our services and for a reasonable period afterwards to handle follow-ups, records, and legal or accounting requirements. We then delete or anonymise it.
8. Your rights
Under the PDPA you may request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent to our use of it (including for marketing). To make a request, contact us at the address below. Withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer provide certain services.
9. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your personal data against loss, misuse, and unauthorised access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work only with reputable providers and limit access to your information.
10. Children
Our services are for adults of legal drinking age in Singapore (18 or over). The site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always the one published here, with the date it last changed shown above.
