Terms & Conditions
These terms govern the services provided by Nightporter ("we", "us", "our") to you ("you", "the guest") when you book or enquire about a bespoke night out in Singapore. By placing a commitment fee or confirming a booking with us, you agree to these terms.
1. The service
Nightporter is a bespoke nightlife concierge. We plan and coordinate a private evening for your group — a curated route of licensed third-party bars and venues, with tables and entry arranged ahead where possible, a host to run the evening, and a chauffeured limousine between stops. We do not own, operate, or control the venues we take you to; they are independent businesses with their own rules, pricing, and admission rights.
2. Enquiries and bookings
An enquiry is not a confirmed booking. A booking is confirmed only once we have acknowledged it in writing and your commitment fee has been received. We work by appointment and reserve the right to decline any enquiry at our discretion.
3. Commitment fee
Each booking begins with a S$50 commitment fee. This is a separate charge, additional to the hourly rate, that grants you the right to secure your chosen date and kick-starts the bespoke planning we carry out for your evening. Once your commitment fee is placed, our team will reach out to confirm that your date is secured. The commitment fee is non-refundable if the night does not go ahead, including where you cancel. Once your date is confirmed, your scheduling remains flexible, subject to availability and to not overlapping a prior confirmed booking.
4. Pricing and payment
Our rate is S$150 per hour, with a one-hour minimum, quoted and charged in Singapore Dollars (SGD). Payment for the night is settled in full before the evening begins, by the methods we make available (currently card via Stripe or cash). An invoice is issued on request. The commitment fee and the hourly charge are separate; the commitment fee is not deducted from the hourly charge.
5. Pre-payments
Some requests or arrangements require payment in advance. Where a third-party venue, vendor, or supplier requires a payment up front — for example to hold a booking or to fulfil a special request — that amount must be pre-paid before we proceed. We will set out the amount and what it covers in writing for your acknowledgement, and a dedicated Stripe payment link is generated for it. We begin the arrangement only once you have acknowledged and paid. Whether a pre-payment can be refunded depends on the terms of the vendor or supplier concerned (see Cancellation).
6. What is and isn't included
Your fee covers the planning, coordination, host, and chauffeured transport between stops. It does not include drinks, food, venue entry or cover charges, special-request add-ons, or gratuities, which are payable by you directly or added to your invoice as applicable.
7. Rescheduling
We reschedule to keep things flexible for you. You may change the date or time of a confirmed night at any point up to your scheduled pickup, and we will always do our best to accommodate — this is our commitment to you. Rescheduling is subject only to availability and to not overlapping another confirmed appointment, and there is no charge to reschedule.
8. Cancellation
We take your commitment seriously and block your date and time exclusively for you, turning away other bookings for that slot — so a cancellation means a lost appointment we can rarely fill at short notice. Accordingly:
You may cancel up to 24 hours before your scheduled pickup for a refund of any payment made toward the night. For cancellations within 24 hours of pickup, payments made toward the night and any pre-payments are non-refundable. The S$50 commitment fee is non-refundable where you cancel or the night does not otherwise go ahead on your side; however, if we are unable to secure your requested date, we will offer you the nearest available alternative or, if none suits, return the commitment fee in full. Any pre-payment made for a third-party request is refundable only to the extent the relevant vendor or supplier's own terms allow, regardless of the notice you give.
9. Guest responsibilities
You and your group must be of legal drinking age in Singapore (18 or over) and able to produce valid identification on request. You agree to behave lawfully and to respect the rules and staff of every venue. Venues reserve the right of admission and may refuse or remove any guest; we cannot guarantee entry to any specific venue, and no refund is due where a guest is refused or removed for their own conduct. You are responsible for your group's conduct throughout the evening.
10. Third-party venues
Because venues are independent, their availability, pricing, and policies can change without notice. We may substitute a venue of comparable character where a planned bar is unavailable, closed, or unsuitable on the night. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, products, or service of any third-party venue.
11. Chauffeured transport
Chauffeured transport is provided between the evening's stops for your group. You agree to follow reasonable instructions from the driver and to travel safely. Any damage to or soiling of a vehicle caused by your group may be charged to you at cost.
12. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law. Subject to that, our total liability arising from a booking is limited to the fees you have paid us for that booking, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for the acts of third-party venues. You agree to indemnify us for any loss or damage caused by your group's conduct.
13. Discretion and privacy
We treat your details and your evening in confidence. How we handle personal data — including for enquiries, analytics, and marketing — is set out in our Privacy Policy. Any guest words we publish are shared with permission and always anonymised, and we do not list them with third-party review platforms.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force is the one published here at the time of your booking.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction.
